These guidelines keep Rooted & Rising free, safe, and trustworthy for everyone. By submitting a video, you agree to follow them. They exist to protect you, your fellow contributors, and the movement as a whole.
Original & Authorized Content
Only submit videos you created or have full rights to share. Do not upload copyrighted music, footage, or images you don't own or aren't licensed to use.
Honest & Accurate
Share knowledge truthfully, to the best of your understanding. Don't present misinformation as fact or make unsafe claims.
Safe & Respectful
No content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or dangerous — and nothing that exploits or endangers anyone, especially minors. Respect the dignity of all learners.
No Private Information
Don't share personal or private information about other people without their consent.
Free & Non-Commercial
Lessons are donated freely to the commons. No advertising, promotions, sponsorships, paywalls, or solicitations inside your videos.
Minors Need Guardian Consent
Contributors under 18 must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian through the guardian path. Guardian submissions are verified before publishing.
Review & Approval
Every video is reviewed before it goes live. We may approve, reject, or remove content to protect the commons, and are not obligated to publish anything submitted.
You Are Responsible
You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights to share it. Rooted & Rising is not liable for user-submitted content.
License to Share
By submitting, you grant Rooted & Rising a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content within the commons for free public access.
These May Evolve
Guidelines may be updated as the movement grows. Continuing to submit means you accept the current version.
